J&S Auto Centre sells a little of everything:

Customer Satisfaction!!! That's what J&S is
all about.
Where do the vehicles at J&S come from?
Local, customer trade-ins and dealer
networking.
In fact, the majority of our vehicles are purchased
from other dealers which is great for J&S customers.
It means a larger inventory selection and a greater
price range for our customers to select from.
The "Auctions." Yes, the auctions where Ford,
Dodge, Toyota, Honda, Chevrolet, and Mercedes all
sell their off-lease vehicles to dealers. That's
right - dealers buy directly from the manufacturers
with factory warranties and guaranties still in effect.
It can't get any better than that.
What if I'm looking for a specific vehicle
and it isn’t in your inventory?
Tell us. Your desired vehicle
might be coming in as a trade or we might have just
purchased it. If not, don't despair - we will contact
our network of dealers and see what's available for
you.
J&S Auto Centre inventory is heavy on “import” vehicles
- Hondas, Volkswagons, Toyotas, and Mercedes Benz.
Is the J&S sales team qualified to sell import
vehicles?
Yes.
25+ years of car business experience in sales,
training and management at “import” stores
selling Hondas, Toyotas, Mercedes, Audis educated
me. With vehicles always changing, its imperative
that the J&S sales team maintain product knowledge
by learning all we can about each vehicle including
the latest technological advances being used.
Import vehicles? Isn't that term obsolete
considering Toyotas, Hondas, and BMWs are made here
in the US?
True. Most of the "import" manufacturers now call
the United States home with factories in California,
Tennessee, Indiana, and Kentucky providing vehicles.
I'm buying a pre-owned vehicle so does it
come with a warranty?
Yes. Most of our vehicles have the remainder of
the factory warranty. If not, we can offer you an
extended warranty. For out peace of mind, as well
as our customers, all of our vehicles undergo a multiple
point inspection and reconditioning process by our
service department to ensure that your "new" vehicle
is in tip-top, road ready, driving shape.
Trade-ins? How does J&S Auto Centre determine
trade-in value for my vehicle?
Trade-in value is based on NADA book values. Trade-in
values can be adjusted up or down after your vehicle
is appraised with J&S reserving the right to
cancel the sale if the trade-in has been inaccurately
described, has odometer problems or a salvage title.
Internet vehicle sales - does J&S sell
vehicles, sight unseen, to its customers?
Yes we do. We have sold to buyers in Simi Valley,
Key West, Manhattan, Boston, and Atlanta, Georgia
just to name a few. Honesty is the best policy and
has resulted in buyers flying in and driving back
home in their new vehicles. Other buyers have simply
opted to have their vehicles shipped to them.
We are happy to say that ALL have been extremely
satisfied.
If I'm a long distance buyer, how can I be
expected to purchase a vehicle sight unseen?
Easy. J&S believes in honesty and the customer.
This belief is essential in our small community
where we see the same faces daily. Such a commitment
guarantees that you will be given an accurate vehicle
description - the vehicle will be as described. If
there is a dink in the door, a scratch on the bumper,
or some other imperfection, we will tell you. In
fact, we sold a Lexus to a South Carolina buyer because
we were truthful about a scratch on the vehicle.
That's right. He told us no other dealers had been
that frank about their less that perfect vehicles.
We were. And we will continue to be.
If I'm an out-of-state buyer, do I pay sales
tax?
You will not pay Illinois sales tax. You will
pay sales tax in your home state when registering
your new vehicle (title and license plate transfer).
You might want to check with your license bureau
to be sure your state laws have not changed.
ATV accessories? What's available?
J&S has quite the selection of accessories
available for the ATVs including snowplows (one size
fits all), winches, windshields, mowers, mirrors,
gun cases, hand warmers, goggles, helmets, warm gloves,
riding suits, t-shirts, and a lot more. Check out
our accessory department for these "must have goodies."
Any reasons why I should buy from J&S?
Yes.
1) Our customers tell us that the relaxed, no
pressure sales atmosphere at J&S combined with
sales honesty, outstanding vehicle quality and
the value of their dollar make buying a vehicle
a no brainer.
2) J&S is a low-overhead dealer. Because
we are located in a small community, we don’t
pay high property costs. We haven’t built
a large, fancy, new car showroom nor do we have
acres upon acres of vehicles. We pay market value
for vehicles, not in excess of and we keep our
inventory manageable. We strive for low operating
expenses and by doing that, we can pass on the
savings to our customers with low vehicle prices.
